Final journal check will take place on October 12 (A day)/15 (B Day). Your third, and final, weekly journal challenge will be checked then, too.
Your reading pages are also due October 12 (a day)/15 (b day)
7th grade – 750 pages (Book Club books count – even if we don’t finish them in time)
7th grade ALL - 1000 pages (Book Club books count)
9th Honors – 1000 pages (Of Mice and Men counts)

Creating Life-long learners
Thinking critically, problem solving, and consuming great art in an effort to become a learned, well-rounded human being are the goals of our class. By being observers of art, reading a wide variety and types of texts, and creating your own, unique works, you will develop the skills that will ensure you contribute to society as well as accomplish your most ambitious personal goals.
